15 Aug 2018 10:47AM — Unscheduled Downtime
The CS GPU cluster machine (cuda.cs) had to be rebooted after hung NFS mounts related to file-server updates on 13 Aug 2018. cuda.cs was back up and operational by 10:49AM.

13 Aug 2018 — System Downtime
College of Science IT will be updating CS compute server machines (antor, data, mcXX) to Ubuntu 18.04. During this time HAAS (G040, G056 and 257) and LWSN (B146, B148 and B158) will be temporarily unavailable and reboot sporadically.

4-8 May 2018 — System Downtime
College of Science IT is updating CS instructional lab Linux machines to Ubuntu 18.04. During this time computer labs in HAAS (G040, G056 and 257) and LWSN (B146, B148 and B158) may be temporarily unavailable and reboot sporadically.

10 May 2018 — System Downtime
The CS department web server (www.cs.purdue.edu) and FTP server (ftp.cs.purdue.edu) will be moved to a new server. There should be minimal downtime, but there may be some inconsistency while host aliases are updated to the new server.
