Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force was formed in 2020 to assess the current status of the department with respect to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and make recommendations on actions the department should take to increase diversity among students, faculty, and staff, enhance equality and inclusion of minority groups, and strengthen the pipeline for minority computer scientists. 

 

Timeline

Fall 2020 • Nominate members to DEI Task Force

Spring 2021 • Present Draft Proposal in Purdue CS Community Town Hall

Summer and Fall 2021 • Gather feedback and draft Final Proposal

Fall 2021 • Second Purdue CS Community Town Hall presentation

Fall 2021 • Deliver final recommendations to leadership in Purdue CS
