Student Affairs Leadership

Amber Stanley serves as the Director of Student Affairs, bringing a rich and diverse background in higher education and nonprofit leadership to her role. She provides strategic direction for student engagement and support initiatives across both West Lafayette and Indianapolis campuses, with a particular focus on CS Student Ambassador programs, undergraduate research, study abroad, and partnerships with campus collaborators. Her work is marked by positivity and a spirit of collaboration. She most enjoys creative problem-solving, fostering a sense of belonging, and guiding students as they discern their next right step.

Preethi Vaidyanathan is a passionate educator with over two decades of experience, beginning as an elementary school teacher and later transitioning to higher education. She currently serves as Assistant Director of Student Affairs where she supports student success through advising, career guidance, and engagement initiatives. Her global background—having lived in India, Sweden, and the U.S.A - enables her to connect with diverse student populations. She is known for her empathetic, student-centered approach and collaborative spirit.

Dr. Jermaine Williams Jr. is an educator and researcher committed to empowering student development across various social, spatial, and digital contexts. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of Computer Science Internships & Student Development, a joint position within the Office of Professional Practice and Department of Computer Science at Purdue University. In this role, he supports the academic and professional development of students pursuing computer science, data science, and artificial intelligence disciplines. Based on the Purdue in Indianapolis campus extension, Dr. Williams is collaborating with partners across the ExEd landscape to prepare students for work-integrated learning opportunities.
