Fall 2025 New course CS390ARC – AI, Robotics, & Community, Apply by 8/24
Hello everyone,
You are invited to apply for CS390ARC – AI, Robotics, & Community, an experimental and first-of-its-kind course launching this Fall. We are seeking motivated students passionate about teaching, research, and making a real-world impact, especially in the areas of AI and robotics.
In this course, you will:
- Explore how AI and robotics can support and strengthen local communities
- Engage with topics like education, citizen science, and socially-aware robots
- Collaborate with the Purdue CS Department to mentor youth in local robotics workshop events.
- Gain hands-on experience in both technical and community-centered problem solving
Course Format:
- Lecture: Once a week, Wednesdays 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Seats Available: ~12
- Application Deadline: August 24
