Bedrich Benes is Professor in the Department of Computer Graphics Technology and Computer Science at Purdue University at West Lafayette, Indiana and director of High Performance Computer Graphics Laboratory at Purdue. He is also editor in chief of Computer Graphics Forum journal. He studied Computer Science and received his Master of Science and doctorate from Czech Technical University in Prague. Bedrich's research areas include Geometric Modeling, Procedural Modeling, Real-Time Rendering, and High Performance Computer Graphics.
