Join ProMazo & L'Oreal for Mentorship & Professional Development

I am reaching out as President of the ProMazo National Foundation regarding a unique professional development opportunity for students within the Computer Science.

We have officially partnered with L’Oréal to launch the MentorIT program. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic study and the tech industry by pairing students directly with L’Oréal IT professionals for a structured, four-month mentorship.

Program Overview & Requirements: The program is hosted on ProMazo’s platform and is designed to fit into a student’s busy schedule while ensuring meaningful professional growth:

  • Duration: 4 months (Kickoff in mid-February).
  • Direct Mentorship: Students are matched 1:1 with a L'Oréal IT professional.
  • Monthly Meetings: Students take the lead by scheduling and attending at least one virtual meeting per month.
  • Structured Growth: To ensure success, students complete weekly 15-minute professional development modules on the platform and are required to create meeting agendas for each session.

Why this is valuable for your students: This is more than just a networking opportunity; it is a deep dive into what an IT career looks like at a global scale. Students will gain insights into the tech stack and corporate culture of a world leader like L’Oréal, while refining the "soft skills" of professional communication and agenda-setting that are critical in today’s job market.

How to Apply: We would appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with your students via your department newsletter or listserv. Interested students can apply directly via this form: Link to Application Form

As the program kicks off in mid-February, we encourage students to apply as soon as possible to ensure a match.
