Seeking Participants for "Dynamic Policy Enforcement in WebXR" Study
Hi Everyone,
Our research group from the Department of Computer Science is working on a runtime UI manipulation detection system for WebXR applications to understand its effectiveness and acceptability among users.
We are seeking participants who are 18 years of age and older to participate in the experiments. The participants will be provided with a Meta Quest3 headset and asked to perform some interactive tasks in the WebXR immersive environment while we collect information about different events and clicks. The participants will also be asked to complete a survey and will be asked to answer a few questions verbally at the end. The final interview will be recorded via zoom, however, only audio and transcript will be recorded, no video will be captured.
The experiment will take a maximum of one hour, and the participant will receive a $20 Amazon gift card. The participant must also physically sign their name in our lab, in LWSN.
If you are interested, please first take the screening survey (it will take less than 5 minutes) - screening survey. If you fulfill our recruitment criteria, we will reach out to request your availability. Your participation is voluntary and your participation or non-participation will not affect academic standing or relationships.
This study has been reviewed by IRB. Please contact the graduate student researcher with any further comments or questions.
