User Study Participant Invite: PeriPreView: Collaborative View Sharing in Extended Realities (Enhanced Study)

Dear Computer Science Student,

We invite you to participate in our user study designed to assess the effectiveness of view-sharing systems in collaborative tasks facilitated by extended reality headsets. The study will take up to 60 min of your time and you will be compensated with a $30 amazon gift card.

During the session, you will engage in a series of collaborative tasks under two conditions: first, using our view-sharing system equipped with an XR headset — which is like a virtual reality headset, except that you also see the real world around you — and second, a control scenario without any technological assistance. This will be a within-subjects study, meaning you will experience both conditions. You will collaborate with another participant and work in pairs. After that you will be asked to fill out questionnaires about the experience. The risks to you are minimal.
