AWS Hosting Generative AI Hackathon, 10/31-11/2

In partnership with the Telecom Infra Project, AWS is hosting an innovative developer challenge focused on transforming multi-vendor RAN integration through AI innovation.

This three-day hackathon, taking place from October 31st to November 2nd at AWS in Dublin, brings together the brightest minds from research, startup, and enterprise communities to create groundbreaking solutions for the telecommunications industry. ​

No prior cloud networking experience is required! Students will have access to data sources, digital twin capabilities, and a variety of foundation models and generative AI tools including Amazon Bedrock. We'll provide all the necessary resources and support to help you build your project over the course of the hackathon.

As a quick update, we’ve received lots of questions from students (outside of the greater Dublin area) around whether virtual participation is possible and we’re eager to announce that virtual registration is now open! Dependent on registration volume, we will also consider instituting a cash prize for the virtual track as well.

Throughout the event, you’ll have a chance to meet executives from leading AI organizations, compete for cash prizes, and have ample time for collaboration between academia and industry through our planned social events over the course of the weekend.
