👥 For Faculty & Partners

The Robotics Initiative connects Purdue Computer Science with K–12 classrooms through hands-on robotics kits, teacher-ready curriculum, and student-centered mentorship. We invite Purdue faculty and external partners to help expand this work through meaningful collaboration and support.

Whether you're designing new robotics activities, writing a grant, or looking for a way to give back, there’s a place for you in the initiative.

🧑‍🏫 Classroom Connections

Looking to try out a robotics idea with students? We’ll help you team up with teachers who are excited to test new tools, give feedback, and shape classroom-ready lessons. These collaborations keep your work grounded, practical, and truly useful in K–12 settings.

📄 Grant Collaboration

Working on an NSF CAREER proposal or other outreach-focused grant? We can help you design a realistic, meaningful K–12 component that fits within the Robotics Initiative. From classroom access and teacher connections to kit logistics and curriculum scaffolding—we’ve got you covered.

💻 Ways to Support

You don’t have to co-design curriculum to make a difference. There are many ways to contribute:

  • Donate robotics kits or equipment
  • Sponsor classrooms, teachers, or student events
  • Volunteer your time as a speaker, mentor, or classroom collaborator
  • Host events or campus visits for teachers or students
We’re always open to new ideas and creative partnerships.
