The primary objective is to introduce students to the world of research and graduate-level work at Purdue University, Department of Computer Science. By engaging participants in hands-on research experiences, they will collaborate closely with faculty mentors on specific projects throughout the program. This immersive approach aims not only to instill a deep understanding of their chosen field but also to cultivate a strong connection with Purdue's academic environment. Through meaningful engagement with faculty mentors, participants will gain invaluable insights and skills, laying a foundation for their future academic and professional endeavors at the graduate level.
Interns work closely with a Purdue research team on cutting-edge projects. They are involved in the day to day life of a research lab and get to take part in all aspects of CS research. They also enjoy opportunities to socialize with graduate students and explore Indiana. See the potential research projects.
