Invitation for Purdue students: Data4Good 2026 (Oct. 11 deadline)

Last year, 1,100+ students from 105 universities participated. This year, participants will use data from Tempe, Arizona, to develop solutions for safer communities while competing for $32,000 in total prizes.

For $25 per participant, the opportunity includes:

  • Six months of DataCamp learning access.
  • Microsoft AI-901 training and a certification exam opportunity.
  • SAS and Databricks training and badge opportunities.
  • INFORMS Business Problem Framing and Leading in Analytics course and badge opportunities.
  • A 30% discount on an annual Interview Query subscription.
  • CAP-E preparation course opportunities for top-performing teams.

Participants also create a poster and short presentation video to showcase their work to employers. Undergraduate and master’s students compete in teams of 3–4 from the same institution and degree level. Alumni, practitioners, and PhD students can participate individually or in teams of up to four.

Bulk registration is also available for departments, programs, or faculty who would like to sponsor a class, cohort, or student organization.
