Welcome New CoS Dean

Dr. Jeffery Roberts has been named the Purdue University Frederick L. Hovde Dean of the College of Science. Roberts comes to Purdue from the University of Minnesota where he served as chair of the Department of Chemistry. Roberts will begin his appointment beginning fall 2009. Roberts specializes in the fields of physical and materials chemistry. His research interests focus on aerosol surface chemistry.

vision for science research and education, and his tremendous capabilities as a leader will ensure the continued national prominence of the College of Science at Purdue University."
