Hart Elected to CSTA Board

CS Outreach Coordinator, Mindy Hart, was elected to the board of the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA). Her 2-year term began in June 2009 with her first board meeting in Washington, DC. The board consists of 14 people; members represent grades K-8, grades 9-12, and universities. Hart fills one of two national at-large positions on the board.

The CSTA board is an organization of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). They develop model curriculum, and work to effect policy for computer science education. The CSTA provides computer science teachers with the annual Computer Science and Information Technology Symposium.
