Palacz, Krzysztof (advisor: J. Vitek), "Crusoe -- Towards a Multicomputer Execution Environment for Java." Dr. Palacz accepted a position with Sun Microsystems Laboratories in Mountain View, California.

Carbunar, Bogdan (advisor: A. Grama, C. Nita-Rotaru, J. Vitek), "Coverage Problems in Wireless Sensor and RFID Systems." Dr. Carbunar accepted a position with Motorola Laboratories in Schaumburg, Illinois.
