A culture of persistence

"As I complete my first few months here as a faculty member, I am compelled to express my immense gratitude and affection for this incredible institution. Purdue Computer Science has already become an exceptionally special place to me, and I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on why I love it here and why I chose it over other institutions :)

The groundbreaking research, innovative curriculum, and accomplished alumni spoke volumes about the quality of the program. However, it was during my visit to the campus that I truly felt the warmth and vibrancy of the community. The passion and dedication of the faculty, staff, and students were palpable, and I knew in my heart that this was the place where I could thrive both professionally and personally.

Now, having spent a few months here, I am delighted to say that my initial impressions have only grown stronger. The collegial atmosphere and the genuine support I've received from my colleagues have been nothing short of exceptional. The sense of camaraderie among the faculty members has fostered an environment where we can collaborate, learn from one another, and push the boundaries of our research.

The students at Purdue have been a true source of inspiration. Their curiosity, ingenuity, and drive to excel have been a constant reminder of why I chose to pursue a career in academia. I am honored to play a role in their educational journey, and I am committed to nurturing their growth as they become the next generation of computer science leaders.

Thank you for welcoming me into this remarkable community and for making Purdue Computer Science a place I am proud to call home."
