Dr. Dennis M. Conti

Dennis Conti is Vice President for North American Marketing for the Satellite Networks Division of Hughes Network Systems, Inc. (HNS), and is responsible for all marketing activities for the North American region relating to HNS satellite products. Before joining HNS in 1982, Dr. Conti managed projects related to the development of federal government systems and software standards for the National Institute of Standards and Technology, formerly known as the National Bureau of Standards. For the U.S. Naval Surface Weapons Laboratory, he was responsible for the development of operating system software for CDC and IBM mainframe computers. Dr. Conti is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Sigma Xi, and the Association for   Computing Machinery. He has authored several articles for professional and trade journals and periodicals.
