Letters of Recommendation

At least two letters of recommendation must be submitted as part of your electronic graduate school application. Letters must be submitted by the application deadline. It is good practice to complete your graduate school application after your recommenders have submitted their letters.

We suggest that your letters be from academic or professional references who have current knowledge of you, as much as possible. Your recommenders should be individuals who can comment on your recent accomplishments and your qualifications for graduate study in computer science. Please ask your recommenders to include a brief description of their qualifications for writing the letter.

Waiving your right to review a letter of recommendation increases its value in the eyes of the admissions committee.
