Computer Graphics and Visualization Laboratory at Purdue University

The Computer Graphics and Visualization Laboratory (CGVLab) is an academic research lab that is part of the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University. The group conducts research in graphics, visualization, computational geometry, and related applications. Focus areas include model acquisition, image generalization, scientific visualization, urban modeling, robust computational geometry, and geometric computations and constraints.

Yichen Sheng defended his Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Dr. Benes and will start at Nvidia Research.

Dr. Benes and his students have two full papers accepted to Siggraph 2024. We will present three (one is from ACM ToG).

We have NINE papers accepted to CVPR! One for Aliaga, Two for Yeh, Three for Bera, and Four for Benes (one is shared with Bera)
