WAW 2015 - Call for Papers

Call for papers

WAW 2015 invites original research papers on all mathematical and algorithmic aspects of graph algorithms and graph models especially papers that espouse the view of complex data as networks.

Submissions are invited in, but not limited to, the following areas

  • Algorithms: graph algorithms, clustering, collaborative filtering
  • Analysis: structural properties, visualization, patterns, communities, discovery, real-world random graph models, processes on random graphs
  • Data Models: graph models, evolution, trust and reputation networks..
  • Applications: web mining, social applications, web search and ranking, recommender systems, citation analysis, biological networks, molecular networks, and other complex network models

Papers and posters must be submitted via the WAW2015 EasyChair site:

  • Full papers: The papers must be formatted according to Springer LNCS style. See below for a note on paper length. The workshop proceedings will be published as a Springer LNCS volume. Selected papers from the workshop will be invited to a special issue of Internet Mathematics.
  • Paper length. The page limit for publications is 12 pages of text and one additional page of only references. Initial submissions for review are allowed to contain supplemental information beyond the 13 pages, but this must be removed in the camera ready versions if the paper is accepted. For those where this information is removed, you must make it available on a archivally accessible website and provide a reference in the paper. A great choice here is the arXiv preprint repository, but official institutional repositories would work as well.
  • Posters: There will be special poster session. The authors should submit an extended abstract not exceeding 4 pages in Springer LNCS style. The extended abstract will not be included in the proceedings.

Important Dates

  • Paper submission on Easychair deadline: July 25, 2015 (anywhere in the world)
  • Notification of acceptance: September 11, 2015
  • Camera versions due: September 25, 2015
  • Registration deadline: November 1, 2015 (unless the spots fill up)
