Amgad Madkour is a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University. His research interests is in the area of data management where he focuses on efficient query processing over web-scale semantic data. Before joining Purdue, he was a Staff R&D Engineer in the human language technologies group at IBM Egypt. As a graduate student, he interned at Microsoft Research, Bing Knowledge Graph, and Yahoo!.
