Dr. Mehta has done extensive research in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Industrial Organization, Information Economics and Experimental Economics. His research areas are, uncertainty and information (including information and incentives), industrial organization (including the internal organization of firms and the evolution of standards), labor economics (including the formation of norms and the theories of wage formation and of wage distributions), game theory, applied microeconomic theory (including belief formation and contracting), inventory theory and operations management and experimental economics.

Dr. Nour's research is in integrating technology into the basic medical sciences curriculum and Internet applications in educational and training programs. Heis now working on development of a database in basic medical sciences for custom designing of CD-ROMs and web-based programs that can be used for teaching and for improving access to health information.
