Romila Pradhan

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at Purdue University advised by Professor Sunil Prabhakar. My broad research interest is in database management systems. My current research focuses on data integration tasks where I work toward exploiting data dependencies and incorporating additional resources of information during fusion of conflicting data from multiple information providers. In the past, I worked on graph approximation techniques where I investigated graph densification as an alternative to sparsification of graphs.

I graduated with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. Before joining Purdue, I enjoyed a two-year stint at the Investment Banking Division of Deutsche Bank, India.
