Biography

Currently, I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University. Dr. Alex Pothen is my advisor. My research interest includes parallel computing and bioinformatics. I got my MS from University of Florida where I was a Research Assistant to Dr. Markus Schneider. My undergraduate engineering degree was from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology(BUET), Bangladesh.

I was born in a small town named Tangail, Bangladesh. I grew up in the middle of the beautiful green environment and rich cultural resources.

  • 03/01/2017: I attended and gave a talk on "Scalable Algorithms for Graph Matching and Edge Cover Computations" in SIAM CSE, 2017 at Atlanta, GA.

  • 10/15/2016: I presented my paper on "Computing b-Matchings to Scale on Distributed Memory Multiprocessors by Approximation" in Supercomputing, 2016 at Salt Lake City, UT.

  • 10/15/2016: I presented my paper on "Approximation algorithms for b-Edge Cover" in SIAM CSC, 2016 at Albuquerque, NM.

  • 7/15/2016: Our paper on Distributed Memory b-Matching algorithm has been accepted at Supercomputing, 2016.

  • 4/15/2016: Our paper on "Approximation algorithms for b-Edge Cover" has been accepted at SIAM CSC, 2016.
