I am graduating with a PhD from the Department of Computer Science at
Dr. Alex Pothen
was my Doctoral advisor. My research interest includes parallel computing and bioinformatics.
I got my MS from University of Florida where I was a Research Assistant to
Dr. Markus Schneider.
My undergraduate engineering degree was from the
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology(BUET), Bangladesh.
I was born in a small town named Tangail, Bangladesh. I grew up in the middle of the beautiful
green environment and rich cultural resources.
07/20/2017: I am currently moving out of Purdue. I will start working as a Scientist for Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), Richland, WA.
07/07/2017: I have successfully defended and submitted my dissertation. Thanks to Prof. Pothen, my family and friends.
03/01/2017: I attended and gave a talk on "Scalable Algorithms for Graph Matching and Edge Cover
Computations" in SIAM CSE, 2017 at Atlanta, GA.
10/15/2016: I presented my paper on "Computing b-Matchings to Scale on Distributed Memory Multiprocessors by Approximation" in Supercomputing, 2016 at Salt Lake City, UT.
10/15/2016: I presented my paper on "Approximation algorithms for b-Edge Cover" in SIAM CSC, 2016 at Albuquerque, NM.
7/15/2016: Our paper on Distributed Memory b-Matching algorithm has been accepted at Supercomputing, 2016.
