The "Geometric Transformations" T-shirt, a cotton companion to
Ernest Irving Freese's Geometric Transformations, by Greg N. Frederickson:

Twenty years ago I had contracted Paul Miller of RockNRoll Alley to print a bunch of "Plane & Fancy" T-shirts to commemorate the publication of my first dissections book, Dissections: Plane & Fancy. They turned out great(!), as you can see by following this link. Well, I just couldn't restrain myself from staging a "second act," even if it had to wait for my fourth book. And so once again the mathematical puzzle world is stuck with dissections-themed T-shirts!
The shirts are Hanes Beefy-T (100% preshrunk cotton) cream-colored T-shirts silk-screened on the front in 4 colors with the words and the dissection from the cover of my fourth book. The shirts have been produced by Underground Printing, whose local outlet is at 314 W. State Street, West Lafayette, IN. (However, Underground Printing doesn't have any Geometric Transformations T-shirts in stock. If you can't live without such a T-shirt, then you'll have to contact me!)

When I made my recent fashion statement, and indeed, when I made that original fashion statement 20 years ago, I had no idea that I was connecting with a mystifying world that cross-pollinates book covers and comfy apparel. Check out this subculture on Twitter: #DressLikeABook.

And thanks to Rachel Nuwer, whose Oct 11, 2018 Twitter post I stumbled upon and which displayed a photo of herself enraptured by her book POACHED as she was enwrapped in a matching bathing suit. Indeed, it's never too late to have such fun!

And not one to ignore the elephants in the room, either Republicans or true pachyderms, I was surprised to read her New York Times article "Elephants Really Can't Hold Their Liquor", by the same Rachel Love Nuwer who had already shared on Twitter (via the above link) piquant comments about the connection between fashion apparel and books, which I then appropriated with respect to T-shirts emblazoned with the front cover of my fourth book! And not to ignore the facts, the date of Rachel's elephant article is truly auspicious, appearing on my 73rd birthday (5/20/2020) !
