Vanessa and Mike Kibbe: Tujungan Gothic
Piano-Hinged Dissections: Time to Fold, by Greg N. Frederickson:

Vanessa Kibbe was instrumental in locating Ernest Irving Freese's manuscript, Geometric Transformations, and also in preserving much of her uncle's correspondence and personal papers. After the 2004 spring semester was over at Purdue, I came out to Los Angeles for a week to sift through the material that Vanessa had retrieved from Freese's house. She spread a sheet over the pool table and piled up the material for me to go through. What a treasure hunt!

Vanessa and Mike were really generous with their time, considering that they were finishing up the renovation of a house, in addition to their activities as musicians. I took the above picture in their home in Tujunga. Mike was obviously cutting up, but I now forget the exact nature of his dissection.
