the GeoLoop puzzle from Binary Arts, which was discussed in
Piano-Hinged Dissections: Time to Fold, by Greg N. Frederickson:

In Chapter 11, I mentioned a loop of 24 isosceles triangles that could fold up to produce any of the 35 hexominoes. The loop had been produced and sold by the toy company Binary Arts, which is now called ThinkFun. Below are two photos of the actual product, both in its original wrapping and folded into a 2 x 3 rectangle (which was how the puzzle was folded in its original wrapping). Note the use of two colors and the resulting "checkerboarding".
