Photos of Tessellations' foam model of Thomas H. O'Beirne's dissection of cubes for 3 : 4 : 5 :: 6, which I mentioned in Chapter 21 (page 248) of Dissections: Plane & Fancy, by Greg N. Frederickson:

In Knotted Doughnuts and Other Mathematical Entertainments, Martin Gardner reproduced Thomas H. O'Beirne's 9-piece dissection of cubes for 3 : 4 : 5 :: 6 in which all pieces are rectangular solids. Now Rob Fathauer's company Tessellations has brought out sturdy foam models of O'Beirne's cubes under the name "Cubed Cubes". Although it is not so difficult to form the 3-cube, 4-cube, and 5-cube, most people will find forming the 6-cube a pleasant workout.
