These additions are the result of a second round informal survey of colleagues who were asked to indicate their favored sites that are currently available on the World Wide Web.

This organization is a business-to-business website created by the English Tourism Council to provide those involved in the business of tourism with a centralized link to current information on accessibility issues at both national and regional levels.

36. Australian Tourist Commission (ATC) http://www.atc.net.au
The Australian Tourist Commission is an Australian Government Statutory Authority established whose objective is to promote Australia as an international tourism destination. ATC Online provides news releases, tourism data, marketing information, products & services and research together with external links that are in some way related to Australian tourism.

The Bized Internet Catalogue's objective is to provide a reliable source of selected, high quality internet information for students, researchers and practitioners in the areas of business, management and economics. 38. Centre Internationale de Recherches et d'Etudes Touristiques (CIRET) http://www.ciret-tourism.com
This French and English language site provides access to over 400 research centers and over 1,300 individual researchers who specialize in tourism and travel. CIRET provides key-words and a geographical index of published tourism research through access to articles, documents and books together with author(s), title and publisher. Single source information is free, but there is a charge for delivery of information.

Equations is a non-profit organization established for research, training and the promotion of holistic tourism. The organization works toward transforming the inherently exploitative nature of mass commercial tourism. Activities include documentation, publication, research, seminars and the investigation of alternative tourism policies and structures.

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International maintains the above website which contains one of the most extensive international listings of Hospitality, Hotels, Travel & Tourism, Transportation, Meetings & Conventions, Restaurant, Food & Catering, Travel Agents and Miscellaneous Associations links found anywhere on the World Wide Web.

The Institute is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to both fostering and facilitating tourism initiatives which contribute to international understanding and cooperation, an improved quality of environment, the preservation of heritage, and through these initiatives, help to bring about a peaceful and sustainable world.

The purpose of the Tourism Education Website is to provide a list of resources and links for tourism educators and students. Main areas include: tourism books linked to publishers; links to journals, libraries and abstracting services; a tourism specialist bibliography; links to tourism organizations and marketing research providers; jobs; courses, and; access to discussion groups.

This British Tourist Authority web site is intended for practitioners, researchers and other academics whose primary responsibilities are promotion, marketing and development within the tourism industry. Sections include among others, inbound tourism statistics, business advice, market intelligence and training programmes.

The mission of the Travel Industry Association of America, a travel industry trade group is to represent the whole of the U.S. travel industry to promote and facilitate increased travel to and within the United States. The Association provides travel statistics and trends, programs & events and publications specifically related to domestic and international tourism in the U.S.

Travel Mole bills itself as "The Online Community for the Travel and Tourism Industry." Individuals may register for unrestricted access to all travel and tourism news and receive free, TravelMole a weekly e-newswire. One of its most useful sections is titled "Destinations" which contains information on the seventy-five most visited world nations. Also provided are sections on research and resources as well as directories of individual components of the tourism industry.

46. United Kingdom Research Liason Group (Star UK) http://www.staruk/org.uk
The Group is composed of representatives from the national tourist boards for England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Britian and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Star UK provides an extensive database of research, policy and statistics on tourism as well as useful resources, publications and links to other tourism web sites.

The purpose of this website created by the English Tourism Council is to provide a national exchange of expertise, advice and information on the development of policies and initiatives relating to the sustainable management of tourism. It does this by drawing on examples of best practice in England.
