Below is a list of areas in which sponsored research can be undertaken by the faculty and students from the academic members of the center in collaboration with the industrial members.

Research undertaken could take one or more of several forms. Examples: (a) Empirical that involves data collection and analysis, (b) Development and evaluation of a prototype to test out a new idea, (c) Study of an existing process and making recommendations for changes, (d) Development and evaluation of new techniques and/or algorithms that are improvement of the existing techniques/algorithms in a given area, and (e) Development and deployment of applications in rural areas.
