Vulnerability Management - 18 September 2002

The presentation of the different aspects of vunerability management, like CIRDB and ICAT,
were all informative on what each program does on the surface. It was well explained on how
they collect data and use it to collaborate to help more people overall. SOmetimes though,
like in the odds and ends section especially it seemed more like you were marketing certain products
instead of just giving an informative presentation on them.

As for the amount of material covered there seemed to have a broad focus on the different things
being done, while they could have gone even deeper into just one of those aspects like the ICAT.
There was a lot of information covered in the CIRDB database part, but it seemed like there could
have been more.

The presenatation was well formed for what material they did have, and it seemed to transition well
from one subject to the next. Parts of the presentation were slow as unneeded information was
given, or really just too technical information was given. This could have helped in completing the
presentation if these parts had been left out.

First of all, the complete presentation would have helped in determine what else we would like to
see in the futre on this subject, but we would like to see more depth in one particular area of
vunerability management, and what future steps are being taken to advance this system of
management.

Overall Presentation Review
Overall, the peresentation was like the "Tale of Two Cities". It was good at times and it was bad at times.
SOme of the inforamtion could have been explained more to help the overall idea of vunerability management
and how people are handling it today.
