Tool Based Assignment 4

    In this  assignment, you will learn to use the Proteum, a software for mutation testing.  Here are the instructions for using Proteum (currenltly this is available on enad sun machines only) :

  • Add the following to your .login :

    • setenv PROTEUM14HOME /home/champion/v/singha/406/proteum1.4.1/bin

  • Add this path for the gui interface for Proteum to your .login file:

    • /home/champion/v/singha/406/proteum1.4.1/bin/interface

  • The user's manual in postscript is available at

    • /home/champion/v/singha/406/proteumIM-userguide.ps

    Please note that this manual is for an enhanced version of proteum and hence many; of the items might not be applicable to the version that has been installed.
