ISN'T SHE A MARVEL

This poem was also written during a SAMI workshop on the above
date. HUnter Moore, whi conducted the workshop, asked us to think
about a person with whom we would like to be.  Then he asked us to
write a 4 line chorus and then one 4 line verse. He gave us about 10
minutes for the whole exercise.  I could not follow all his rules.
But this is what I came up with.


Hey! She is my wife
  We love and we fight
We plan and we cancel
  We talk and  keep quiet
Wow! Isn't she a marvel ?

Isn't she a marvel ?
  She dresses up just right
Sometimes a little too tight
  But its always lovable
'Cause she is a marvel

'Cause she is a marvel
   For all my mistakes
She gives me a few cakes
   Even when I mess up Pach'bell (Baroque composer)
Isn't she a marvel ?

Oh! Isn't she a marvel ?
  But why is she a marvel ?
'Cause she IS a marvel!
Isn't she a marvel ?
