  • complete the initial research requirement
  • choose a research area
  • identify a major professor
Semester 4 One or more CS courses including remaining CS core courses plus additional seminars/ special topics courses in areas of interest and research credits (CS 69900)
  • complete the core course requirement
  • form an Advisory Committee
  • draft a Plan of Study
Year 3 Semester 5
