Keller Law Offices $2,000 Scholarship, Apply by June 1

Keller Law Offices is proud to announce the 2nd year of its Keller Law Offices Scholarship for Higher Education. The goal of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a worthy student. We understand that there are a lot of outstanding young people who, without financial assistance would not be able to go to college. Medical, social or financial obstacles can make higher education a mere dream to some students.
To help open the door to the world of higher education Keller Law Offices will be providing an annual $2,000 scholarship to an exceptional student enrolled for the fall of 2017. The scholarship committee will base the judging criteria on financial need and the quality of a written essay.

The Essay
To win this scholarship, all applicants must submit an essay between 500 and 1000 words in length on the following topic: A 19-year-old is convicted of statutory rape with a 15-year-old. Should the 19-year old be required to register as a sex offender? The quality of the applicant’s essay and the accuracy with which they followed the instructions included here will be a significant part of the committee’s decision-making process.
The winner’s essay submission may be published on Keller Law Offices and reserve the right to publish the winning essay. Keller Law Offices has the sole right to resolve any disputes which may arise in the selection of the award winner. There will only be one award allotted. The winner of the scholarship may be asked to submit a copy of his or her completed FAFSA to verify need.

Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is open to any US citizen or permanent US resident who will be enrolled full-time in an accredited community college or four-year baccalaureate degree in the fall of 2017.

How to Apply
All applications must be filled out and materials received via the form below by June 1st, 2017. Applications submitted via any other channel will not be considered. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered. The decision of the committee is final. The winner will be notified by email or phone by August 1 of 2017. Scholarship funds will be disbursed to the college or university in September of 2017.
Our scholarship recipient will also be asked to submit a current photo to be published in an announcement to recognize this year’s winner on our website.
