Project Description: This project is a sub-project for a in developing 3D imaging device that can be
used by law enforcement for crime scene evidence collections. The project is
aiming at developing a data transferring solution through USB2.0 connection
between embedded Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows OS (10). The student will work
on the software development on an existed embedded hardware plateform.
This is a part-time remote internship position, but could lead to a future
summer internship/full-time position depending on performance.

Final Deliverables: • Software algorithms and test result report
• Source code
• Binary and demo program with min 16 MB/s transferring speed; one time
transfer maximum size, 500MB
Weekly Working
10-15 hours / Week
For Credits/Pay Depending upon qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Strong coding capabilities with C / C++
• Familiar with use of Visual Studio and Github (For version control)
• Strong communication skills
• Capable of conducting code debugging by self
• Applicant should submit a cover letter within 200 words to illustrate his/her
qualification for this project.
