FareHarbor is seeking a methodical intern to work as part of our Business Intelligence team during the Summer of 2018! If you’re highly curious, deeply analytical, and have interest in gaining experience in managing automation of large scale data transfers, we need you to assist us in leveraging quantitative information to form business decisions!

Job Summary: On a day to day basis, the Data Operations Engineer intern will continually identify and execute on improvement opportunities with FareHarbor’s data management processes. As needed, the Data Operations Engineer intern will assist other Business Intelligence team members with various data analysis and support tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work within FareHarbor departments to investigate data related issues, seeking to provide timely and productive solutions
• Manage backend data from multiple systems (MixPanel, Google Analytics, CRM, ZenDesk to name a few)
• Maintain clean and correct databases (RedShift and POSTGRES) to ensure accurate reporting
• Collaborate with FareHarbor analysts to build layers within our database for better reporting capabilities
• Conduct and manage automation of large scale data transfers
• Assist other team members with various data analysis projects as needed

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven programming skills in either Python, Java, R, or C++
• Proven database management and analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Advanced Excel, SQL, and Tableau skills

Internship Details:
• Duration: May 29-August 3rd,
• Compensation: $2,200/month
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Location: Denver, CO
