NYU Pathways to AI Program, Apply by 2/1
I am writing to share an exciting opportunity at NYU this summer. The Pathways to AI Program is returning for its second year, offering the chance for undergrad students to gain hands-on experience in AI research alongside leading professionals, such as Professor Yann LeCun. We are especially interested in expanding the field of future-scientists to include those historically underrepresented in the field.
Over the course of six weeks (from June to August), students will attend mini-courses in topics such as Python, data science, computational math, and Big Ideas in AI. Students will also participate in several research lab rotations, which will provide them with an opportunity to learn about ongoing research projects directly from faculty, postdocs, and graduate students. Students who successfully complete the program will be invited to work on a research project with a faculty member during the Fall 2023 academic term.
You can find more information at this website, and you can hear about the “eye-opening program” from last summer's cohort in this profile. Pathways to AI admission comes with a generous stipend and additional funds for travel. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. The application is now open to undergraduates through February 1st.
