Part-Time Software Developer Position at RightFit Analytics, Inc.

RightFit Analytics, Inc. (www.rightfitanalytics.com) is looking for a self-motivated, energetic undergraduate software developer majoring in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with strong communication skills and an interest in entrepreneurship.  Responsibilities include assisting with the development, testing, and deployment of the RightFit Analytics healthcare application, which is written in Python and uses advanced AI and Machine Learning techniques.

·         Software design and development methodologies, version control, and testing

·         Python 3 using a variety of APIs, including Pandas and Numpy

·         Experience with Jupyter notebooks, AI, and Machine Learning a plus

About RightFit Analytics, Inc.
RightFit Analytics Inc. (www.rightfitanalytics.com), a start-up located in the Purdue Research Park, is developing an intelligent platform that leverages historical data to determine a physician’s strengths with respect to patient characteristics including medical history and demographics. This platform, referred to as RightFit, leverages machine learning and big data analytics, draws from existing clinical performance evidence, and makes adjustments for factors such as patient medical history and physician performance. The system predicts surgical outcomes (e.g., length of stay or hospital readmission) and provides patients and physicians with statistical data on improving outcomes by adjusting patient comorbidities (e.g., BMI or A1C level) and/or surgical assignment and training.
