Summer REU Program for CS at Montana State Univ, Apply by Feb 20

We are pleased to host a 2019 NSF Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at Montana State University in Bozeman this summer. The program title is “Research and Development of Algorithms in a Software Factory.” Students will gain research experience and improve communication and collaborative skills. We aim to provide students with the opportunity to develop a research question and experience writing for academic publications and presentations.

A feature of our summer REU are group activities, including a visit to Yellowstone National Park, outdoor opportunities in the Bozeman area, and weekly gatherings with mentors and participants. We value the diverse experiences of our students and aspire to provide an academic setting that also incorporates the Bozeman and Montana State University communities.

We would like to invite your students to apply to this opportunity and greatly appreciate your help sharing the information, below. For more information, students are welcome to contact
Dr. Clemente Izurieta, Program Director, clemente.izurieta@montana.edu, or http://www.bobcatsoftwarefactory.com/nsf-reu-2019/.
