Discovery Park Undergraduate Research Internship (DURI), Apply by 7/30

Dear students,

I am writing to invite you to apply for the Discovery Park Undergraduate Research Internship (DURI) program for the upcoming 2021 Fall semester. See this link for more details of this program and you may click ‘Apply to DURI: faculty and students’ to start the application process.

Specifically, you are welcomed to apply my group's project "Physics-Informed Machine Learning to Improve the Predictability of Extreme Weather Events”, which is one of the three projects selected and funded for improving Global Sustainability. See here for more details about this project.

If you are selected, you will earn a $1,000 Fall semester fellowship from the DURI program, and I will provide you a space in Weather and Climate Dynamics Laboratory at HAMP 4267 with a computer for you to conduct the research during 2021 fall semester.

Please feel free to contact me at leiwang@purdue.edu if you have any question, and the deadline for application is July 30
