Discovery Park Undergraduate Research Internship (DURI) at Purdue, Apply by Aug 10

Discovery Park has posted new research projects for Fall 2020 as part of the Discovery Park Undergraduate Research Internship (DURI) at Purdue. The DURI program provides opportunities for undergraduate students to work with faculty on cutting-edge research in the areas of global security, health, and sustainability.

Undergraduates can see the current list of DURI projects and apply for one project at the DURI website. Student applications are due Aug. 10. Faculty project supervisors will then review all eligible student applications before making final selections. Students will be notified of their acceptance after that date, with a target of the first day of classes (Aug. 24).

Students selected this Fall will be responsible for pursuing their research projects, culminating with a poster presentation in the Fall Undergraduate Research Conference hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research and a one-page abstract/summary of their results. Assuming all requirements are met, each participating student will earn a $1,000 fellowship from the DURI program.
