Indiana Dept of Transportation Seeking Data Modelers

My team at INDOT manages the agency's Data Warehouse, and we're looking to expand our team by two full-time positions.

Both positions will be working with SQL (required) and our central Extract Transform Load tool, Oracle Data Integrator (great if you have experience) to maintain and enhance our ability to support applications and business intelligence reporting. We deal with a wide variety of data: financial, traffic statistics, work order management, and vehicle tracking, to name a few. Of course, communication and the ability to work with others is key. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar is required as well.

The first position is focused on the tasks above, and will work with clients downstream to help test and troubleshoot ETL loads and build data models for reporting. The second position, "Data Warehousing Analyst", will involve a scripting component as well. We're looking for someone with some experience in Python, Perl, Powershell, or similar. These tools are essential for us to connect to sources of data upstream, and it is important that we maintain a robust code base for this purpose.

I expect these positions to be 1 day each week in the downtown Indianapolis office, 4 days remote.
