Title: Indiana State Climate Office – Student Data Service

Focus: Data monitoring, collection, and delivery


Job Summary

The Indiana State Climate Office (IN-SCO) is seeking a student interested in Indiana climate, data collection and quality assurance, instrumentation, and data delivery.  Will help monitor real-time data quality control/assurance, support IN-SCO data requests, on-site maintenance and upgrades of weather observation stations, and other IN-SCO activities associated with climate observational data and management.



Only current Purdue students will be considered and need to apply.  When applying, indicate your experience working with data, instrumentation, and/or programming involving data.  List past job experiences that required organization and attention to detail.  Include any experience that would help meet the job skills being sought.



Must be comfortable working with atmospheric data parameters.  Friendly with a positive attitude.  Experience in database engagement, instrumentation, and Python programming a plus
