CS Alum at Bright Machines Looking for Purdue Engineers

CS Alum, Carlos Vanegas, joined a new SF-based startup, Bright Machines, that is doing software for manufacturing robotics and automation. The company was founded late last year by former executives from Autodesk and Flex, and I'm currently building and leading the software team in SF. The main piece of technology that my team is building is a digital twin to do 3D design and simulation of robotic arms and robotic cells. It's a very exciting and very challenging mission, and I'm currently getting the best talent I can get to deliver it.

I'd love to bring a few Purdue CS recent grads to my team, and I'm particularly interested in people who completed or are about to complete undergrad or master programs, and who have some background in graphics, visualization, computational geometry, and related areas. The company is well funded, has a healthy runway and great visibility in the industry, and offers all the benefits and perks that are common in well-established bay area startups.

I would really appreciate if you could share this information with top-level students that you think could be interested. They can reach out to me directly at carlos.vanegas@brightmachines.com
