Aptiv is hiring students for the 2021 Spring Semester!

Aptiv Verification Lab (formally the Delphi Verification Lab) is looking to hire students to work at the Vistech1 facility, located in the Purdue Research Park. The candidate will gain real work experience by working part-time with the world leader in automotive electronics!

US citizenship is required for all available positions that are listed below.

Software Engineering

Location:  West Lafayette, IN

Number of Hours: Part-time, 12 hours a week

The qualified candidate will receive experience developing, debugging, documenting, and testing a set of Engineering Software Test Tools.


  • Sophomore or junior majoring in computer science or mathematics
  • Experience in database management using either MySQL, Microsoft SQL or SQLite.
  • Experience in at least one of the following programming languages (C, C++, C#, MatLab, LabView, Python, TestStand, Visual Basic)
  • Ability to develop trouble-shooting techniques for solving software errors
  • Ability to read and update software error reports in the Mantis database
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team
  • Self-starter able to drive projects to completion
  • A passionate interest in software engineering
  • Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.75 or greater
