Data Scientist Opening with Cleveland Guardians

Employment opportunity for students (either undergraduate or graduate) at Purdue for a data scientist opening with the Cleveland Guardians baseball club.  These positions are intended to be based in Cleveland, OH, though we would be open to a remote position for the right candidate.

At the Cleveland Guardians, data scientists have exciting opportunities to advance cutting-edge research in domains such as player valuation, player development, sports science, motion capture, natural language processing, computer vision, and biomechanics.  Working with our small, global team of elite statisticians and data scientists, candidates will collaborate with a wide variety of baseball operations personnel, such as scouts, coaches, and decision-makers to help us in our goal to win the World Series.

We welcome recent or upcoming graduates as well as mid and senior-level candidates to apply.  Interested applicants should apply online here.
