Research Computing Aug/Sept Training
Hello all!
Welcome to the Fall 2023 semester from the Research Computing team here at Purdue. We will once again offer a weekly series of training events for everyone interested in learning more about research computing and data. Topics will include cluster computing, containers, job management in HPC (High Performance Computing) environments, and many more. A preview of our upcoming sessions is included below:
In-Person - ACCESS HPC Workshop: Shared Memory Programming Using OpenMP (August 28, 2023, 11:00AM-5:00PM)
- A 1-day workshop offered in partnership with ACCESS and PSC!
- This in-person workshop is intended to give C and Fortran programmers a hands-on introduction to OpenMP programming.
- Registration is required to ensure everyone can access the exercise materials and practice environment.

In-Person - Clusters 101 (September 1, 2023, 2:30PM-4:00PM)
- An in-person workshop offered to the campus community.
- This workshop will give students, faculty, and staff an introduction to the research computing clusters at Purdue University.
- Attendance is capped at 25 participants, and registration via Eventbrite is required to guarantee a spot!
