Invitation to MEGA-ACE Hackathon

MEGA-ACE, a research collaboration of Purdue Blockchain (PuB) Lab, is organizing its first global hackathon. The goal is to bring together developers, engineers, and entrepreneurs from around the world and explore the possibilities of the Algorand blockchain. The event features two tracks

  1. Open Innovation track (March 15 - April 15) challenges you to realize a dApp from idea to implementation over one month.
  2. Technical Challenge track (April 14 - April 16) is more in line with traditional hackathons where you have to solve given problems of varying difficulty. It will be held over 3 days (Friday - Sunday)

Registration Starts: Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at https://mega-ace.org/hackathon

Note: We want to host the main event (April 14 - April 16) locally at Purdue. This means that Purdue attendees will have a room for the entire duration of the hackathon. Food (pizza and coffee) will be provided, and we shall award local prizes (in addition to the global prizes). But we can only host locally if there is enough interest from Boilermakers. Please contact us after registering so that we can keep track of local participants. Feel free to ask questions.
