CS Freshmen Mentorship

Hello Purdue CS/DS Freshmen! For the first time ever, the Undergraduate Student Board (USB) for CS/DS is making a mentorship program to help YOU, our freshmen succeed in navigating your first year here in the CS/DS community at Purdue!

With this program, you will get a chance to meet a few fellow CS/DS freshmen and will be placed in a group with them and 2 Sophomore CS/DS mentors. Your mentors are available for you to ask questions about courses, internships, research, and just plain social advice and will guide you through your first year with their own experiences to reflect upon. This program will be a way to have insider insight on how to optimize your first year as a CS/DS student and being a mentee for the 2022-2023 year will enable you to apply as mentor your Sophomore year and boost your resume!

- Leads of the program: Pooja (pmathi@purdue.edu) + Tiffany (kuang18@purdue.edu)
